It is time to move forward in education. As we do this, we want to examine the research and apply it to what we are doing in schools now. There are right and wrong ways to work with our students and help them learn. As we do this, we have to remember that we start from where students are — not where we WISH they were. We must be grounded in reality and equip ourselves with the knowledge of neuroscience, learning, and how we can best help kids move forward. Like last year, the presenters and I sat down and discussed the most important topics that teachers seem to be talking about and compiled them into the presentation. Our goal is to be relevant, helpful, and current.

Danielle Strohmeyer

Danielle Strohmeyer is an instructional designer for Advancement Courses. As the former primary and middle school assistant principal of an international school, she cultivated a staff of educators worldwide.
